During the second six months of the project, we carried out our research on two different fronts: Kurdish acts of European citizenship and archival and media research for the acts of citizenship by the three other groups whose acts we proposed to investigate, namely non-Muslims minorities, youth, and women. First progress report

During the first six months of the project we have conducted two different sets of research. The first set comprised of literature reviews on European citizenship and, relations between Turkey and the European Union (EU). Regarding European citizenship, we conducted a survey of the literature on three different and yet interrelated concepts: Europe, citizenship, and European citizenship as a temporally particular material entity that has emerged in Europe at the end of the twentieth century.
